For those who have already been following our news for many years there will be nothing new. It is our 4th time that we hosted a large-scale project like mission week. It always includes 3 basic elements: a creative invitation, lunch lectures in universities and an evening event in a nice venue. Year by year we tried to increase the scale of this project (it shows the success of the week, isn’t it?). In 2014 we focused on one university, in 2015 we already took three, and a month ago we did a mission in 6 universities at the same time.
The sixth annual All-Ukrainian Christian student conference SALT2018 took place in the village Kapitanivka, not far from Kyiv on January 29 – February 04, 2018. This year’s SALT conference continues the tradition of previous conferences, offering students quality and unique material from competent speakers.
The theme of the conference “Mindful Christianity in the Post-truth Era” reflected two main tendencies of modern life. The aim of SALT 2018 was to help modern Christian students to cope with these.
The Autumn Conference of CCX Odessa “Bible & Life” took place in the village of Petrodolynske, not far from Odessa on October 6-7, 2017.
This year’s conference theme was “Christianity 24/7”.
The world is rapidly changing, becoming more stressful and deep. How can you live in this marvelous new world without losing yourself and your faith in Christ?
The main speaker of the conference was Benjamin Morrison, the pastor of Calvary Chapel in Svetlovodsk and coordinator of the City2City movement in Ukraine.
Everyone wants to be effective in what they do. Since effectiveness is most easily measured in figures, the reports on our ministry often boil down to dry statistics.
Yet each statistic has its own story, which tells about a student who found Christ through our ministry and years of work done by CCX! In order to give our readers insight into a non-statistical aspect of our work, we decided to share some of these stories.
